Firefox and Internet Explorer playing 'catch-up' Game

Last week the internet's two giants, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox introduced new and improved version of their software. After a long period of 5 years Microsoft changed their Internet Explorer and introduced it as version 7. Meantime Mozilla firefox appeared in internet with updated features of its own properties.

Explorer now imitates firefox by introducing a new facility, tabbed browsing. It was firstly introduced by Firefox. Tabbed browsing is the facility to open multiple web pages within same browser window. Both browsers now provide advanced search engine facilities within their browser. The built in search function in both browsers help the user to search in Google, Yahoo, Wikipedia etc without visiting that sites.

Anti Fishing tool is the another advantage of both browsers' updated version posses. Now user can easily identify the fraudulent websites by the alarm of the browser. The two browsers warn users when they reached a phishing website. Two browsers now has the ability to receive RSS feeds easily. Firefox has useful spell checker within browser. But in Explorer, an advanced technology of reducing type fonts is available instead.

An important thing I found in these both browsers is that they posses similarities in all kind. So I would like to advice you to upgrade your current version with their updated version. Firefox latest updation can download from http://www.getfirefox.com.

How to start malayalam blog?

Malayalam content in internet world increases far better than before. A lot of websites already appeared in google's search results with high page rank. But majority of the keralites are not aware of how to start a malayalam blog by using free blogging tools available on the net. I just try to teach you how to blog in malayalam.

First of all you have to create an account from blogger.com or some other blogging sites. And go to settings page of your account. Select Unicode-8 for publishing properties. Then your malayalam content will properly work on your blog. Then a question arises. How to write malayalam content? There is so many malayalam word processors available. But almost all of them are not compatible with Unicode Settings. Varamozhi editor is a good choice in malayalam documentaion. After completing malayalam content, just click "ctrl" + "U" in order to get a unicode supported page. Then copy entire article from that page and paste it into your blog post page. Submit. Your malayalam blog is ready to read by anyone.

There is already a malayalam blog community in cyberspace. It doesn't mean you must get a membership from them. But getting a membership from that community will help you increase popularity of your malayalam blog.

Identify minority institutions

Kochi: A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court on Wednesday granted time till October 26 to the State Government to identify minorities and minority professional institutions, as per provisions of the Kerala Professional Colleges (Prohibition of Capitation Fee, Regulation of Admission, Fixation of Non-exploitative Fee and other Measures to ensure Equity and Excellence in Professional Education) Act 2006.

The Bench, comprising Chief Justice V.K. Bali and Justice P.R. Raman, adjourned to October 26 the hearing in the case. The Government, during the arguments, was asked if minorities and minority professional institutions had been identified.

The Advocate-General told the court that the Cabinet meeting scheduled for October 25 would take a decision on the issue.

The minority managements contended that the provisions of the Act violated Article 30(1) (right of the minority to establish and administer educational institutions) and Article 19(1)(g) (right to practise any profession or carry on any business or trade). The law had taken away the minority rights of the managements of self-financing professional colleges.

The petitioner said the section which defined minority was illegal. The Act set certain criteria for giving an institution a minority status. These conditions were absurd. If such criteria were enforced, there would not be any minority institutions in the State. Besides, the Government had no power to recognise or determine the minority status of an institution.

The National Commission for Minority Institutions had the power to recognise a minority institution. If the Government were empowered to determine the status of a minority institution, Article 254 of the Constitution would attract it.

It said that if a State law was inconsistent with the central law, the central law would prevail, the petitioners contended.

The petitioner also pointed out that the provisions in the Act were against the spirit of the Supreme Court ruling on the issue.
